FAMILY
We believe in and nurture strong loving families! Families are strengthened when they worship together. They stand together singing hymns and praying. The children are invited during the service to come forward to participate in the Children’s Portion, and they share their voices in the Children’s Choir. Families gather together around tables in the Fellowship Hall for many luncheons throughout the year.
CHILDREN’S ACTIVITIES
Kid’s Club
A monthly “Kid’s Club” is held during the school year for children in Kindergarten through fifth grade. We usually meet on Friday evening and spend our time learning about life in Jesus’ time. This group also enjoys such activities as roller skating, hay rides, and movies.
Children’s Choir
Our children and youth choirs practice weekly (September through May), and sing in our Sunday service twice a month. The children also perform at our annual Christmas pageant and various dinners throughout the year. All are welcome to join us in any of our activities.
The Children and Youth choirs range from Kindergarten through High School. Rehearsals are Fridays from 5:00-5:45 p.m., with pizza served following rehearsal! For more information, please call Pam Kerns at 570-824-2478.
Sunday School
Our children’s classes meet after services on Sunday for a more of a hands-on approach to learning about the Bible. We offer classes for preschoolers through high school.
Nursery
During the Worship Service and Church School on Sunday morning we offer an infant-toddler nursery where the children are able to play safely, under supervision, while their parents are enjoying the service and study.
Toddlers
Toddlers are invited to join in Children’s Chapel when they are able to participate. We have family activities for the toddlers to join four times a year.
Children’s Chapel
Children in kindergarten through 5th grade may leave the adult service after the children’s sermon to participate in their own Sunday service upstairs in the Children’s Chapel. Our Christian Education Program Director, Pam Kerns, facilitates the Children’s Chapel Service.
AFTER CHURCH LUNCHES
After Church Lunches
A variety of after worship luncheons are offered and enjoyed throughout the year; including Advent, Lent, Chili, Deacons, Session Summer Outdoor Grilling, and the annual back to school Rally Day under the big tent!
GOLF TOURNAMENT
Annual Deacons’ Golf Tournament and Picnic
In late September, the Deacons host their annual Golf Tournament and Family picnic, the proceeds of which are donated to local charities. With the leadership and work of the Deacons, a host of members and friends provide a delicious variety of picnic foods. And of course, awards are bestowed!

CHRISTMAS PAGEANT
Annual Sunday Morning Christmas Pageant
All children and youth are encouraged to be a part of our annual Christmas Pageant, which takes place in worship on the 4th Sunday of Advent.
